The best deal!

With all the deals available, we always want to get the best! You can find loads of information about how to shop around for the best deal!
If we do not get the best, but get the worst, we get disappointed. I have lately come across two cnn articles. The first one is a good example of the 'best deal' - you can be strategic and upgrade your travel almost for free. The next one highlights the problem of higher interest rates amid Fed Reserve cuts.
The bottom line is, whatever you're into, it's in your hands to benefit from this or that situation.

Lack of energy

I wish I stayed in bed the whole day. It's so damn hard to work when you feel tired from morning till night :( Even my favorite tracks in the mp3 player can't save me!!! I decided to search for articles on this topic. That's what I have found.
"just sitting around — yes, lack of physical activity — can sap your body of its vigor. You have to use energy to have energy!"
Well, that's definitely about me. But just yesterday I did a long session on my mini stepper. I'm not a coach potato! then what's happened with me? :(

Wonder fruit

Have you ever heard about acai berries? These berries look like blackcurrant and according to www.vipacaiberry.com, acai helps to lose weight with minimal efforts. These berries have numerous health benefits and I DO want to try them. BUT! Acai berries spoil within 24 hours. I wonder, how do those acai products actually taste?

Vacation dreams :)

Now that winter is coming to a close, everyone starts dreaming about vacations, far-away lands, and hot summer days. It would be nice to spend a week somewhere far from here. But it's next to impossible due to certain reasons. The #1 reason is a tight budget. Sad to say but this year promises to be really hard. No shopping sprees and parties... This makes me upset. I want to make the most of every day I live. But...

A Nice Unit of Knowledge

I really enjoy finding new information online. The web resource I have discovered (knol) is just what the doctor ordered(at least for me). If I want to get more info on any topic I need, I go to google.com, but sometimes search results are not exactly what I'm looking for. The best thing about knol is that I can learn mass of things, and I can read expert's opinion.
The article I've read of late was about debt consolidation. Highly informative. If you 're interested, feel free to read the article.

Life

We never think too much about the life we live day by day. I mean it's of no value for most of us. People like holidays, or some celebrations, or memorable events...We do not fully enjoy ordinary days that can be also great. I started enjoying some of my work days, evenings with my bf, mornings with my cat and it feels awesome.

No time like the present

Once I read a really wise column about the art of living in the present moment. Now I try to achieve this state and you know what? It really HELPS! In what way?
I'm one of those people who like to rake up the past or make plans about the future. There was no PRESENT in my life. I used to wait for the holidays, for some trip, for the moment to see my friends or my bf...But now I try to live "here and now". I start enjoying my way home, I feel relaxed at home and creative on my job place.
I still can make plans about this weekend but it's all so different now :)

Love Online

Love and small business have something in common. What exactly? let's find it out!
Last night was spent just as usual. Watching Scrubs with my Bf... Dr.Cox, this comic physician said something like that... when people fall in love, they don't realize that they do not match each other, some of them get married and realize it after marriage, they separated and only a small percentage of those who stay together they do their best to overcome all the difficulties and that's why they're still together.
Love is complicated, it's the most miraculous feeling in our life. Love of my life started online. ONLINE! It's incredible, but it's true. At the moment, I have no regrets. All my life I'd been searching for someone who can be my Everything and I have found him...online!
Just a couple of days ago, a friend of mine, a shy girl told me that she had found a really cute guy through www.zoomondating.com. I got interested in this web site and decided to visit it. I was pleasantly surprised, really. It's so easy-to-use!!! Even my Granny could navigate it! There you can find the right dating site for you no matter how crazy you are ;)
Online dating forever!

Christmas in the air

I'm pretty sure each family has some kind of Christmas tradition. Christmas gifts under the tree is just one of the many. In view of the current financial situation, this 'tradition' is a headache for everyone. I'd like to share some great creative ideas I've found on the Internet.
You can wrap small gifts in big boxes, so that they look more substantial.
Practical gifts are the best this holiday season. I've bought practical gifts for my relatives and my boy-friend. As for the rest, these are small but lovely gifts(not that expensive btw)
You can also mutually decide not to exchange gifts or bake something instead. Also great idea!
My strategy is to shop smart. Take advantage of ABC analysis and divide your gift list into three groups. A- superior and most expensive gifts for your dearest and nearest, B- for friends (less expensive but still nice), C- cheap but lovely.

Dreams: decode the message

A third of our lifetime we spend asleep. Interestingly, but in some cultures, dreams are not private, they're social. Scientists maintain 12 basic dreams, including dreams about school, sexual experience, arriving too late, falling, flying, failing an exam, and others.
According to Freud, dreams are a path to our subconscious, and I agree with that. School years, first love, maths classes(I really hated them)...It seems like all these events are in the past. But somehow these people appear in my dreams again and they're so real! They say that a dreamer needs to analyze the dreams, but I'm not that good at that. I just enjoy my dreams, as they can be so sweeeeeeet!

What is Christmas for you?
For me, it's a fairy-tale time and it always was. Gorgeous decorations, lights, friends, family, and everything is soooo sweeeeeet!!!
Now that 20 days are left, I decideed to browse through the Internet and that's what I've found. The list of most wanted gifts 2008. ;)
the least wanted gift in this rating is xbox 360 - just 0.9%. But the most wanted is... CLOTHES! Probably, people are so mad about this economic crisis, that they turn to so practical gifts. Number two in this rating is...(OMG!!!) Doll. :) (3.6%) I'm still laughing. :)

I was really surprised to hear that. But during the recession, this gift happens to be the best.
Christmas shopping - how to prepare a budget?

Have you ever set a holiday shopping budget? Shame upon me, but I've never done that. My secret is to buy gifts and decorations EARLY!!! Anyway, I decided to look for some holiday budget tips.
I like the following tips:

Write down the names of everyone on your mental Christmas/holiday list.

Decide how much money you can afford to spend. ( I always do that).

Ask for a free gift box and tissue whenever you buy something.

Cover as many people on your shopping list as possible with homemade gifts. (I've made one ;)

Get creative with your holiday shopping plans. In fact, you many not need shop at all. Throw a party and have everyone bring a dish. It is perfectly acceptable and even refreshing to provide life long memories rather an unwanted gift that will sit in a corner. Don’t stick to traditional gifts; think of what will have meaning for your family.

Opt for sending ecards instead of paper cards to as many people as possible. The sending of ecards is becoming the norm for holiday communications. Sites like hallmark.com offer free ecards in a variety of styles. This saves on cards, envelopes, stamps and car trips! (I adore ecards!!!)

unexpected news

I love my friends! They're my second family...and it was me who chose them. My friends...They can be hilarious and serious. I love them so much!
Yesterday I chatted with my soul-mate in a female's body :) It's my friend whose name I don't want to mention. She's a dream-girl for crowds of men...beautiful, smart, attractive, she's charming!!! Her story almost made me cry. It's her secret, it's her story...love-story, a very sad one. My dear ..., I hope you'll meet the man who will make you the happiest girl in the world! I'm SO SORRY!!!!!!

My initial intention was to find some helpul articles dealing with HRM. But I've found something much more interesting ;) Why smart people can be so stupid by Robert J. Sternberg.
Have you ever heard of successful intelligence??? What about brilliant ideas and concepts that failed to conquer people's minds?
Jeeez! It's AMAZING!!!! Plan to read this from cover to cover ;)

What's scaring people most?

Happy Halloween to all of my friends, relatives and loved ones! ))) For me, the best part of Halloween is lots of spooky FUN!
Funny costumes, silly masks ))) I LOVE it!
Anyway, I decided to find out what's scaring people most nowadays.

Scary movies, horrible ghost stories, and by all means Halloween monsters! Boooo! Are they really scary? Not that scary as...Id thieves and credit fraud crooks. I was really astonished! How can it be? Invisible "monsters" happen to be much scarier than their real "colleagues" :)
The results of the survey as well as credit fraud prevention tips I have found on one of my favourite websites. I'm pretty sure that ID thieves do not look like ordinary thieves. I don't remember where I read about it, but ID crooks are mostly young or middle-aged people. If I'm not mistaken, the average age is about 25 years of age. Invisible criminals who steal our identities....Really scary!

singles

I've got at least ten single friends. They're smart, cute girls but somehow they cannot take that first step towards "real" relashionships. A close friend of mine is a gifted journalist who interviews other people and like to pose in front of the TV camera,(for me it's a great challenge, hate video cameras) but she cannot find her love...Probably, there are lots of those who are trying to find love. But as far as I remember, her relashionships with guys were something like flirting and nothing more. Another friend of mine is really attractive and guys like it, BUT she falls in love with those men who are not single. I don't know what's so special about these guys, but she's mad about them. AND! At the same time she's still dreaming about true and sincere love. Moreover, they're both dreaming about stylish handsome and romantic guys who will write verses and drive the latest BMW model. :))) I really want to see his BFs one day :)
